‘Birthday Abortions’ Are Real & Trump Is Right to Call Them ‘Executions’

This week, the Left exploded with manufactured outrage after President Trump once again ditched the lowlifes in the media at the “White House Correspondents Dinner,” to instead rally a crowd in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Trump spoke on everything from gun control to the border. However, the mainstream media couldn’t look past the president’s comment about how infants who survive late-term abortions may be “executed” if that is the decision of the mother and doctor.

All the usual suspects in the media descended upon the President’s comments, eager to feast off of the tasty morsel he had provided them. The New York Times ran a fact-checking piece, not refuting the fact that a baby is, in fact, executed, but rather that “late-term abortions are rare.” CNN ran a story condemning Trump’s comment by quoting activist group ACOG’s President, who called the President “callous.”

In her signature alarmist style, “actress” Alyssa Milano took to Twitter, calling Trump’s words a “GOP strategy going into the election” by painting the left as “baby killers.”

The firestorm spewing from the Left showcases exactly why they are on the wrong side of history on this issue. Instead of caring about the babies that would be saved by bills like the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act,” which passed with unanimous consent by the Senate and became law in 2002, they focus on the number of babies that would be saved, calling it “rare,” rather than the fact that babies would indeed be saved.

Just because something is rare doesn’t make it permissible. The chance that someone is killed in a plane crash is 1/11 million, but does that mean we should shrug off the deaths of Patsy Cline or John F. Kennedy Jr. who were both killed in plane crashes?

Instead of complaining about President Trump’s rhetoric on the very real practice of “birthday abortions,” the Left should be on board with ending this extreme practice, after all, it has nothing to do with “access” to abortion for women, a common talking point.

But, the ugly truth is that the abortion industry will do whatever it takes to make money, and legislation protecting infant abortion survivors would hurt their bottom line, not to mention their reputation if a baby ends up being alive when they were paid to kill it. So, people like Leana Wen of Planned Parenthood deny birthday abortion even taking place, saying it “doesn’t exist in medicine or reality,” despite the multiple abortion survivors out there, like Josiah Presley, Melissa Ohden, and Claire Culwell, who are living, breathing proof that babies have, in fact, survived botched abortions.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s controversial comments detailing what happens when a baby is born alive is further proof that birthday abortions do in fact happen, and babies are executed. He said, “the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

So, on one side, Leana Wen is calling the practice of birthday abortions nonexistent, while on the other hand, CNN, The New York Times, and Gov. Northam are acknowledging it exists, no matter how rare the occurrence. It seems to me that there is a vast messaging crisis on the Left, where some are willing to accept the hard truth that executing babies exists and agree with it, while some brush it off as a fantasy, and refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Melissa Milano might be onto something here though by saying the issue is a “GOP strategy” going into 2020. It’s horrible that in 2019, we are discussing giving an infant survivor of abortion medical care, or letting them die on the delivery room table. If defending innocent babies is now something that has to be a “campaign strategy,” then so be it. President Trump and all people who are willing to defend infant survivors of abortion are clearly on the right side of history on this issue.
